Where Is the Jade Beauty?

How far can someone go without love?

What happens when someone who has never known love encounters it?

He knows nothing. He simply treasures every kindness that has ever touched his life. Even a single pleasant word stays with him for a lifetime.

He doesn't know how much longer he can hold on. His life has been arranged by others, so is there any point in staying alive? Still, he has to keep going. Every step forward brings him one step closer to breaking free.

When innocent love finally comes, he is already shattered and lost. With no love and nothing to lean on, he will reach the end of his life. If bright sunlight shines on that final road, perhaps that would be happiness, too.

But, boy who gave himself a name, have you lost your smile for good?

P.S. I've shamelessly crawled back to advertise my own stories. Please click my name and check out "Red Peonies by the Bridge" and "Drunk on Fireworks." The first is the sequel to this story. The second is its prequel, as well as the complete collection. Ah~~~ I'm tying my tongue in knots~~~~... Forgive me...
