[Bleach Fanfiction] DAI

1/3,700,000,000 of a second “Yes, I ‘once’ fell for her.” “‘Once’?” “One three-billion-seven-hundred-millionth of a second.” “Oh.” “But do you know? For a computer person, one three-billion-seven-hundred-millionth of a second is already an eternity.” Star Trek, spoken by the computer person Data. I rarely watch science fiction movies because I don't like thinking about all that technical stuff. I came across this quote in a book. But these words, spoken by a technical character in a technical movie, made me think about the eternity experienced by countless computer people. A thousandth of a second, a ten-thousandth of a second, a hundred-millionth of a second: these moments are too brief even for a blink, but to certain “people,” they are already an eternity. I highly recommend two other stories centered on the Technology Development Bureau: Wind and Sand and Notes from the Technology Development Bureau. The former is good to read when this story has you feeling down (but if you don't want to feel even worse, definitely don't read the sequel...). As for the latter... Also, since this story touches on various fields I'm not familiar with, readers with expertise in programming, artificial intelligence, and related subjects are welcome to offer guidance... (Why am I writing something so complicated when I know so little...) And one more thing: this story is based on the Bleach manga up to chapter 315. The Minus chapters are just distant clouds... Glossary: DAI is short for Digital Artificial Intelligence. It refers to artificial intelligence housed in electronic mechanical bodies, praised for its high degree of realism and the comprehensive knowledge each DAI is equipped with when it leaves the factory. This is a story about growth.
