Fu Qing and Quan Bai'er met beneath the Youling Tomb and joined forces. When they emerged, their two tomb-raiding pavilions had merged.
One was cold and taciturn, the other gentle as water. They seemed like oil and water to everyone else, yet shared a perfect understanding.
"You and the others go ahead. I'll follow behind." This was what Fu Qing said to Quan Bai'er more than anything else.
Quan Bai'er gave no answer. The worried tears in her eyes gave her away. Unable to help, she could only agree.
"You idiot! Couldn't you have dodged?!" Supporting Fu Qing, whom she had injured herself, Quan Bai'er shouted, her voice full of both guilt and reproach.
When they met, a conspiracy began to unfold. Where could they go from here?
