Liu Sanlang takes Qing Hehuan as his wife. He will never forsake her through three lifetimes, and will follow her as her husband from the Yellow Springs to the blue heavens.
Story Two: When the Greedy Wolf appears, chaos descends upon the world.
She is a descendant of the ancient Greedy Wolf, who endured countless tribulations to take human form.
He is a Buddha born to fulfill a destiny, entrusted with the great task of restoring Buddhism.
At their first meeting, she saves his life with a century's worth of cultivation.
When they meet again, she is the wicked demon who has descended into the mortal world to harm people beneath his alms bowl.
In the end, she helps him attain Buddhahood, sending her soul to hell. All she wishes for is to be without love, desire, joy, or sorrow in every lifetime.
He says, "Humans and demons belong to different worlds. This monk has no feelings."
She says, "If I can't marry you, then I'll help you become a Buddha!"
