An ABO interstellar mecha story.
“Son of the Republic” Qiao Anqing and “Pirate Executioner” Marshal Zhan are universally recognized as sworn enemies of the Alliance.
These two darlings of fate have loathed each other ever since they attended the same military academy. For ten years, they have clashed at every turn, practically ready to kill each other whenever they meet.
After a battle that wiped out their entire army, both rising stars fell at once. Qiao Anqing's secret that he was an O pretending to be an A was exposed, while Marshal Zhan was saddled with all the blame for the defeat.
Most dramatically, the System determined that the two middle-aged men had an AO compatibility rate of 97% and forced them to register as married.
And so the two had no choice but to “join hands” as they were exiled to the far reaches of the Alliance.
Their enemies all hoped they would keep fighting, torment each other, and eventually die in that godforsaken place.
But no one could have imagined that the pair would seem “deeply devoted” to each other, thrive in that hellish star sector, and eventually sweep back in with irresistible force, sharpening their knives for everyone who stood in their way.
Villain: ...Wait!! Wasn't Zhan Yunqian Qiao Anqing's sworn enemy, the kind who would never rest until the other was dead? The kind who would trade barbs and insults the moment they met! Why is Qiao Anqing calling him “hubby” in such a sweet voice as soon as they see each other? You are the Son of the Republic, for crying out loud. How did you change your tune so fast?!
Marshal Zhan's former subordinates: Weren't we told that Marshal Zhan's pheromones smell so strongly of blood that any O who catches a whiff wants to throw up? So why is Adjutant Qiao polishing off three bowls of rice with those pheromones in the air?
Qiao Anqing's subordinates: Didn't Marshal Zhan always stare grimly at our Brother Qiao whenever they met, like he wanted to tear him apart and drink his blood? Why is he holding our Brother Qiao around the waist and refusing to let go?!!
Qiao Anqing: ...Ah, I used to be secretly in love with Marshal Zhan, so I kept picking on him to get his attention. You wouldn't understand, a bunch of single dogs!
The villains, subordinates, and onlookers who got caught in the crossfire: ...Even if we are dogs, no dog would believe that!
In short, this is a satisfying comeback story: those who won't submit will be made to, and those who still won't submit will be beaten into submission.
A ruthless, formidable A marshal who excels at warfare, gong × an ambitious, ace-pilot O adjutant, shou
Notes: 1. The gong's pheromones don't actually smell like blood. There's a reason for it.
2. The basic ABO setting remains unchanged, but there are plenty of additional rules. Mpreg included.
3. The blurb sounds grand, but the story is sweet and fluffy. Romance and warfare go hand in hand.
4. The sci-fi elements are mostly made up. There will be scientific inaccuracies, but I'll do my best to avoid them.
