He Dislikes My Beauty

-

Su Yuyu's pursuit of Chu Yixiu was long and utterly hopeless.

Her friend urged her to give up, saying Chu Yixiu's ideal type was pretty, gentle, devoted to home, and virtuous.

Her friend looked her up and down and said she only fit one of those descriptions: pretty, and in a sexy way.

A strict, old-fashioned professor like Chu Yixiu would never like her in a million years.

At the time, Su Yuyu happened to be in a bad mood. Her friend's words crushed her hopes, so she drank two bottles of wine to persuade herself to give up, then tearfully drafted a text to Chu Yixiu, essentially saying that their roads would part, and they would never meet again.

As soon as she sent the message, Su Yuyu turned off her phone.

Later, she got drunk, and her friend walked her back to the entrance of her apartment building.

With bleary eyes, Su Yuyu staggered into the elevator.

When she stepped out, she looked straight into a pair of deep, somber eyes. Her hand shook, and her keys fell to the ground. Her lips trembled instinctively. "M-Mr. Chu."

Chu Yixiu didn't respond. He bent down to pick up her keys, then slowly leaned closer, his voice deep as water. "Our roads will part? Never meet again?"

Su Yuyu's legs went weak, and she didn't dare answer. He said nothing more, simply pulling off his tie with one hand. His expression was calm and his eyes lowered as he led her inside.

(The reason Su Yuyu calls Chu Yixiu "Mr. Chu" is that she used to pretend to be a student just to attend his classes every day while pursuing him, and the habit stuck.)
