Mrs. Li of Yande, whose maiden name was Xuanhua, was the descendant of the Li family who committed crimes during the reign of Emperor Xuan. When he was a child, he was declassified from his mother's clan and became a slave in Yetingling. Later, he worked as a singer in Shengpingyuan. In the third year of Pingcheng's reign, she entered Emperor Hui's harem and was first given the title of Noble Concubine, with the title "Yan". In the following year, the Jin Dynasty granted her the title of Concubine De, and in the fifth year of Pingcheng's reign, she was granted the title of Concubine Yande and lived in the Yanxi Palace.
