Queen Qinhuai was of the Yue family, her maiden name was Chiying, she was the granddaughter of Taifu Yue, and the successor of Emperor Hui. In the fifth year of Heisei's reign, he entered the palace, was granted the title of Zhonggong, and lived in Qizhi Palace. He raised and trained the eldest princess, the sixth prince Zhu Lie, and the ninth prince Zhu Xi.
Later, he was frugal in power, seldom fond of playing, and did not like to laugh or joke. Benevolent, filial, and kind. He passed away in Qizhi Palace on February 14, the 10th year of Guangde. He was named Queen Qinhuai and was buried in Zhenling. Emperor Yongning ascended the throne and was posthumously named Empress Dowager Ciyi.
