[A Shen Tu/An Yan pregnancy story] The title has two meanings. First, Dang Gui means "should return," since Tu Tu is destined to return to Yan Yan's side sooner or later. Second, dang gui is the name of a Chinese medicinal herb that nourishes and invigorates the blood, regulates menstruation, and relieves pain. It's a pregnancy story, so you get the idea. The first half will be adapted from the anime plot, starting shortly before the Egypt arc. Then, as in the first season finale, Shen Tu leaves An Yan to go solo. Here, though, instead of leaving to search for the truth, Tu Ye runs away because he has a baby on the way and is afraid An Yan will find out, haha. It's been serialized on Tieba for a long time. After realizing I'd written nearly 200,000 words on and off, I decided to post it here too. For the steamy parts, search Baidu's Shen Tu/An Yan Tieba for Dang Gui to read the original. Everything else is exactly the same. Come jump in, mwah. To set up the baby, the characters are a little out of character at the beginning. I'll try to bring them back around later. I hope more people will come to love the Chinese animated series The Great Adventurer and Shen Tu and An Yan through my story. Also, I hope the third season comes out soon.
