My Palace Intrigue Can't Possibly Be a Proper Romantic Comedy

At first, when I found out I was going to enter the palace as a maid, I refused.

After all, before I transmigrated, I wrote palace intrigue novels.

I thought I knew all the tricks of the trade, since I'd managed to carve out a path through a palace-intrigue novel governed by the law of the dark forest.

One wrong move could get you killed.

To my surprise, this harem's whole vibe was off.

No, it was completely wrong.

What was with this fluffy, innocent harem?

Where were the promised ten-step kill streaks, the "granting of the Red Maiden's Robe" and "serving aconite soup"?

The consorts were all proper young ladies who didn't even know how to argue.

The maids in charge of arguing had a battle power of about 0.0005 geese.

And me, with the battle power of five thousand geese...

For the first time, I experienced the loneliness of being invincible.
