Saving the Excellent Second Male Lead (Costume Drama Crossover)

I've watched so many TV dramas where the second male lead is perfect in every way, only to lose out to the first male lead's protagonist aura. In the end, they turn evil, fall to the dark side, or meet a tragic end... It just breaks this old nun's girlish heart! P.S. This story does what the title says: save the excellent second male leads and pair them with the first male leads! [Mostly historical dramas, including wuxia and xianxia] Other possible titles: [Saving the Tragic Second Male Lead] [The Excellent Male Supporting Character's Journey to Happiness] [The Bromance Between the Second and First Male Leads] Characters currently being written: "Fighter of the Destiny": Qiushan Jun x Chen Changsheng "The Legend of Chusen": Qin Wuyan x Gui Li (Zhang Xiaofan) "Swords of Legends": Ling Duan x Baili Tusu I'll have to think about the others. [Feel free to suggest some, though I might not use them! Haha, the author is just that tsundere! P.S. I have lots of ideas, but I might end up dropping this...] Even though a lot of second male leads are great, some first male leads are just impossible to love... I'll have to wait and see! Read this before starting: 1. "Male supporting character" basically means the second male lead. There might be a third male lead too? Who knows... 2. The story will mainly follow the TV dramas, but the timeline and plot may be rearranged. If you like to nitpick or are a fan of the original novels, read with caution! 3. Danmei. Whether the pairing is top/bottom or bottom/top depends on the characters and plot. 4. The pairing is with the first male lead, so the original pairings will be broken up. [The author is really stirring up trouble!] 5. Feel free to leave suggestions, encouragement, or criticism! Writing is just a hobby. If you're not having fun, feel free to leave! 6. Please do your best to urge me to update! I'm busy with work, so updates are irregular, but I'll try to post two or three chapters a week. Theme:
