[Madara and Tobirama] Sakura's Language

He would never regret it, and he never would. Uchiha Madara was that kind of stubborn person.

Even when Black Zetsu tricked him into losing everything and becoming the laughingstock of the world, he refused to bow his proud head and admit he was wrong.

Why should he? Why should he admit fault? He had done nothing wrong.

Was it wrong to long for peace?

Was it wrong to want to build a world without conflict?

Was it wrong to want Izuna back at his side?

But in the end, the one who understood him was not Hashirama, but Senju Tobirama, the man he had resented and hated all his life.

That man smiled at him. Uchiha Madara, stripped of the Ten-Tails and lying weak on the ground, saw clearly that the man standing behind Hashirama was smiling.

Senju Tobirama, always so serious that his expression seemed frightening, looked unexpectedly handsome when he smiled...

What had been the reason for founding Konoha in the first place?

After his life flashed before his eyes like a series of passing scenes, Uchiha Madara suddenly realized: he had wanted to protect his younger brother.

The young Hashirama's childish voice echoed in his ears. "Madara, once we've built the village, we have to protect our little brothers."

What had he said then? He couldn't remember.

In the end, he had failed to protect Izuna, and Hashirama had failed to protect Senju Tobirama.

Senju Tobirama...

You spent your whole life cleaning up after Hashirama and me...

In the end, you died on the battlefield, just like Izuna, to protect your elder brother's dream.
