Blurb:
Bai Xiaoxian transmigrates into a redemption novel and discovers that she's the heroine's foil: the vicious supporting character who tramples on the hero.
She slaps him, pushes him into a pond, makes false accusations, and does every wicked thing imaginable. After falling for the hero, she frames the heroine, drugs him, and tries to force a marriage between them.
Of course, she fails at all of it.
Once the hero has made a name for himself and become the chief minister, the vicious her is thrown into prison and sent off with a cup of poisoned wine.
She awakens early, while the plot is still at the part where she pushes him into the pond.
The pale, frail boy in the freezing pool stares at her coldly.
Remembering her tragic ending, she shudders and reaches out a hand. “I didn't mean to... Do you still want to come up?”
The boy in the water looks up with a cold laugh, then drags her into the icy pool.
He really does hate her.
Ji Chen knows the young lady of the manor has always looked down on him. Her gaze is full of contempt and disgust, as if he's a rat in the gutter.
He's always endured it. But one day, after she pushes him into the freezing pool and then holds out a hand to rescue him, as if it were all a game, he can no longer restrain the violence in his heart. He drags her into the icy pool.
Her helpless, startled appearance pleases him. How interesting. Do you think you're the bright moon, and I'm the gutter?
When they meet again, she actually avoids him in fear.
Afraid of me?
He smiles gently, but after it happens again and again, he finds himself growing unaccustomed to it.
One day, after realizing he's been drugged, he watches the flustered girl in silence, his eyes red-rimmed, his beauty fragile and alluring. Then he lets out a low laugh.
So she likes me.
Bai Xiaoxian, forced to follow the plot: “...”
Later, a man in purple robes and a golden crown forcibly marries her, builds her a golden house, and makes himself her one and only devoted subject.
He knows that the little cat who claws and hisses in front of him is a sly, heartless little fox. She doesn't love him, but so what? He draws a prison around himself and offers up his love for her to command.
[Before the heroine awakens her memories, the original plot affects her, making her unable to stand the hero. She isn't deliberately bullying him.]
[The following are upcoming stories. If you're interested, visit my author page and add them to your collection.]

Blurb:
After transmigrating into a book as Rong Yinyin, the nominal wife of the big villain Pei Zhou, she remembers the author's disastrous final chapter: Pei Zhou kills the hero and heroine, then sets fire to the Pei family estate...
That's right. In the original story, Rong Yinyin is burned alive.
Trembling with fear, she has no choice but to work hard to get a divorce from Pei Zhou if she wants to survive.
But something feels off when the villainous magnate gives her a curious, sinister look. The closer Pei Zhou gets, the more afraid she becomes.
Maybe it's just her imagination, but Pei Zhou keeps showing up by her side, watching lanterns with her and strolling the streets with her. When he takes her hand and they watch the temple fair, the tall man before her is so handsome and heroic that he seems like a god, dazzling her.
She suddenly thinks that maybe being together like this wouldn't be so bad!
-
Bullied and trampled on as a child, he later gains power and vows that everyone who once harmed the Pei family will die a miserable death.
He marries Rong Zhenzhen only to keep those people's eyes off him. He never intends to touch her.
One day, he meets Rong Zhenzhen. Though she's cautious and timid, she steals a lively glance at him with those eyes of hers.
Rong Zhenzhen isn't like her.
Curiosity turns into undivided attention.
But little by little, he realizes he can no longer live without her.
Whether she's a wandering spirit or not, he won't let her go.
Reading note:
1. A soft, sweet beauty heroine and a ruthless, cold-blooded regent hero.
Upcoming story 2: Three Thousand Wishes (Quick Transmigration)
Blurb:
After Yun Zheng drowns crossing the sea, her unclaimed soul is drawn into a blood-red jade pendant. Inside the pendant is a small world, crossed by a winding river as dark as ink. Now and then, a beautiful lotus lantern drifts by. Each one holds the longing and regret of someone in one of the countless worlds.
Yun Zheng wants to live, so she fishes the lotus lanterns out of the river and grants their owners' wishes in exchange for the power of their prayers and merit. Only when the wish power in her glass vessel is full can she escape the pendant and regain a human body.
She remembers the wish she made in life: “Yun Zheng doesn't ask for great wealth or status. She only hopes her wet nurse can stay by her side, safe and well for a lifetime.”
The people who harmed her are still living in luxury and splendor.
But even if she has become a spirit in a piece of jade, one day she'll return and make her enemies pay for everything.
First wish: A fake heiress, killed far too young, only wants to live a good life. Who could have guessed that she'd end up marrying the legitimate heir who has secretly loved her?
Second wish: A discarded wife, betrayed by her husband, wants nothing to do with the poor scholar. Instead, she marries her aloof maternal cousin through an arranged match, learns from him, and becomes a wealthy merchant.
Third wish: Even a courtesan wants to marry the man of her dreams. She never expected Prince Guangcheng, who always said he loved her, to treat her as a substitute for another woman. A substitute? If she's going to be a concubine, she might as well become a consort to the Son of Heaven...
Theme: If you love someone, stay by their side for a lifetime.
Ah, ma'am, you can write better.
I'll go, it's such a bloody plot, it'll end in a mess
I feel like the ending is too rushed. The plot and Xiaoxian's emotional transformation feel compressed a lot. Mingming Ji Chen's throbbing on the Lantern Festival night is really wonderfully written. (T_T) Do you have any plans to expand the story into extra chapters?
A daughter-in-law fell off a cliff
Is it over too quickly?
Ah, will there be any updates later? You are so good at writing.
Is it so fast? Apart from just writing about Xiaoxian's throbbing, how will Xiaoxian's love be shown later? Is it a sweet ending or something?
Why can't I see it anyway?
The phrase "forgiveness" appears a little unexpectedly. After all, this sentence suddenly appears in the vernacular and it doesn't quite match.
