Fanny's Journey

Alone.

Setting out on the road to pursue my dreams.

Just thinking about it makes me shiver with excitement.

From childhood until now, I'd never once traveled alone in pursuit of something, with a goal in mind. Everything was so new.

I never imagined how many difficulties I'd encounter once I set off alone.

Even though I'd received plenty of help beforehand,

when I was completely lost in the Muggle world, my local money was stolen,

and no one paid any attention to the magical coins, which were like souvenirs to the locals,

when I had no one to communicate with,

when I'd lost my map,

my broom was broken,

and all I had left was the tent Anna had left me, I felt utterly desperate.

Only after losing my way in the vast desert did I realize that the magical world was just a little world within this vast one.

After traveling for about a year,

I successfully earned my International Quidditch Referee certificate.

My two-year gap year is now half over.

Of course, I still feel lost.

Then, just at that moment,

I heard that the American Ministry of Magic had made a proposal to the British Ministry of Magic about Quidditch cooperation, and I was excited all over again.

The Muggle world?
