This is no epic, but it is a work I poured my heart into. Since you’ve opened it, please read at least this chapter before putting it back where you found it. Of course, you may buy it and keep it for yourself, and I would be deeply honored!
As the cover says, people are not plants or trees, so how can they be without feelings? I naturally have feelings of my own, and in this book I’d like to tell you all about my personal love life and romantic tales.
As you can imagine, my writing is clumsy. I haven’t yet found a magic pen, and my talent is nowhere near that of Brother Han or Brother Jingming. I don’t dare expect great sales. I only hope that if you happen to come across this, you won’t pass it by. Do me a favor: if you have money, support me with some; if you have time, lend a hand!
This book recounts some of the experiences and love affairs of one man among countless Chinese men. Perhaps he is an exception; perhaps he is typical. Either way, his story is worth a look. As the saying goes, if it applies to you, take it to heart; if it doesn’t, use it as encouragement! If he’s an exception, then read it for amusement, or even use it to prop up a table leg. If he’s typical, I hope men everywhere can avoid unnecessary detours and take love seriously!
This book is absolutely not exaggerated. The major events and romantic tales are entirely true. Any resemblance is purely coincidental, and you may demand compensation!
I’m not sure how best to tell this person’s love story. How about this: if you want to read it chronologically, start at the beginning; if you prefer flashbacks, pick and choose; if you want to read it in reverse, start at the end. Would that do? If you’re not satisfied, I’ll rewrite it at once. You’re the customer, and how could I refuse?
Thank you again. I look forward to your valuable feedback. Thanks!
