It's been a long time since Eternal Love ended, but I still can't pull myself away from it. The main love story between Bai Qian and Ye Hua was full of twists and turns, but they ultimately got to spend their lives together. Yet the romance between Donghua Dijun and Bai Fengjiu, the one that touched my heart most, left me aching. I feel for Fengjiu, who risked her life again and again for the one she loved. I feel for Dijun, who had fallen for her but couldn't bring himself to say so. And even when he finally told Fengjiu he liked her, he still couldn't promise her a lifetime together. Donghua and Fengjiu's love in the show is like the beauty of Venus, incomplete: they love each other but cannot be together, yet neither can let go or forget. Everyone has their own view of Donghua and Fengjiu's love, and there are countless fanfics continuing their story. I, too, want to write a romance for the Donghua and Fengjiu in my heart.
