When the Mother of Batman's Child Is Hibari

Also known as “Batman Is Exhausted by His Bratty Kid Again Today” and “My Other Dad Is the Bird King of Namimori”

Damian Wayne is Bruce Wayne's son, but his other dad is Hibari Kyoya, the Bird King of Namimori. Damian doesn't know he exists, though, and it's all Bruce's fault.

One day, Bruce Wayne, a.k.a. Batman, finds a surprise (or is it a shock?) gift on his doorstep: an East Asian son.

His son is eccentric, incredibly picky, arrogant, and sharp-tongued, and he has all sorts of strange abilities that leave Bruce stressed and exhausted. Then Bruce discovers that the child's biological mother(?) is a mysterious man from the East.

At that point, all Bruce can think is that he can't go on living like this. After saving an increasingly dangerous Earth, he still has to go home and deal with a bratty kid and the child's mysterious mother.

The inspiration for this story came from realizing one day that both Hibari Kyoya and Batman are fiercely territorial. Then I saw the line “Get out of my Gotham/Namimori,” and suddenly wanted to see how they'd react to being unexpectedly tied together. Since nobody else was writing it, I had to do it myself. (*^ω^*)

The timeline is a mess, and any out-of-character moments are the author letting loose. Trust me, some events have been erased by the butterfly effect for the sake of a better story. This Damian isn't the original Damian; that version got butterfly-effected away. You can think of it as the changes that happened after the Vongola changed the future ruled by Byakuran. Some DC parallel worlds have also been merged. Canon purists, please don't attack me.
