Where Is the Amazing Wolverine?

Newt arrives in New York, but the moment he steps off the ship, he walks into another time and space. He has a suitcase full of magical creatures, and, for some reason, looks like he's taken a de-aging potion. After finally settling in, who knows where this drunk who barged into someone else's house and started a fight came from? How rude! Put me down! I'm an adult, I swear! "Charles, I found a mutant kid. Looks about fifteen... Okay, he says he's an adult." "I'm not a mutant, I'm a wizard." "Oh, a wizard. Can you make a rabbit appear?" Newt pulls a Niffler out of his case. "That's pretty cool, but I can make claws appear, too. Look!" There's just no communicating with him! "Logan, you brought him home, so I think it's your responsibility to be his guardian." "I refuse." "I won't accept that!" "See? You two get along so well!" "..." Plot, daily life, and magical creatures making their presence known.
