The Hunter's Young Bride (Food)

My writing is so terrible that I've locked the comments. Sigh. Little scene: One day, Lin Yutang returned from hunting late at night. Just then, Xia Xia came out of the kitchen carrying a plate of fish. Its fragrant aroma mingled with the sweet scent of glutinous rice. Lin Yutang looked at her expectantly. "Honey, what delicious thing have you made this time?" Xia Xia smiled. "Go wash your hands. I made fish in fermented rice wine. I guarantee it'll be delicious." After eating their fill, the two of them sat in the courtyard, fanning themselves in the evening cool. Lin Yutang seemed to be working up to something. "Honey, don't you think our life is missing something?" Xia Xia: "Are we short on clothes or food? We're not!" Lin Yutang smiled, his eyes crinkling, then scooped her up and carried her inside. "What we're missing is... a house full of children and grandchildren to dote on us." A Crown Prince who only wants to farm x a hardworking, brave wife who cooks wonderfully 1. Most important: This is a fictional setting, so don't nitpick the historical details!! 2. No palace intrigue. Just rural farming, delicious food, cozy moments, and a gentle, unhurried pace! 3. Farming and daily life are my thing. I love this sort of story, and I hope you do too. 4. The wild game and animals in the story are all made up. Don't imitate them! Theme: All living things cherish life, and all living things have feelings
