Crossover: Zekrom's Choice

At fourteen, Pokemon Trainer Tsunayoshi Sawada has:

A Honchkrow who can talk and serves as his home tutor;

An oblivious Starter Pokemon, Oshawott;

A first catch, Growlithe, which he's terrified of;

A most reliable Pawniard who always puts his little sister first;

A Mienshao who never follows orders, an egg of unknown species, and a mysterious Pokemon that's an Espeon by day and an Umbreon by night...

"Honestly, it's not that bad... Don't look at me like you feel sorry for me!? I'm really not that miserable! Probably..."

Today, as always, Tsunayoshi Sawada keeps working toward his goal of becoming Champion.

"I never said I wanted to be Champion! Reborn decided that all by himself... Ow, a Shadow Ball could kill someone! Reborn!!"

-CP Spoiler-

The last time people saw Zekrom, the black dragon was lowering its head to accept the caress of the Trainer beside it. The young Champion wore a reserved, warm smile, sincerity filling his brown eyes.

"I'll wait for you to come find me."

The white-haired boy gripped his Poke Ball tightly, then suddenly burst into unrestrained laughter, loud enough for the Champion, already soaring into the clouds, to hear.

Tsunayoshi Sawada gently stroked Zekrom's long neck, now and then, and found himself smiling too.
