We'll Still Be Together in the End

A few notes:

1. This is fan fiction that fills in the ending of the anime "Kannazuki no Miko."

2. This is my first time writing fan fiction, so please feel free to point out anything that could be improved.

3. This story is purely the result of a sudden burst of inspiration and pent-up feelings. If you dislike GL, please don't read any further.

4. The ending of "Kannazuki no Miko" looks like a perfect love story at first glance, but is actually filled with endless sorrow. I've always wanted to write something about it.

5. Himeko is the protagonist, though I know Chikane has far more fans than Himeko. But I really don't know how to describe Chikane on the moon... >_<

6. I just saw two girls singing an old song, "365 Days of Missing You," on TV, and suddenly thought of "Kannazuki no Miko"...

And so the story begins...
