The Widow of My Elder Brother

XX and her husband were childhood sweethearts, and they were deeply in love after getting married. Sadly, fate was cruel to them, and the couple were parted far too soon. In her third year of widowhood, XX got drunk beneath a willow tree and mistook her brother-in-law for someone else. They spent the night together. The next morning, he told her, “Sister-in-law, don't be afraid. I'll make sure no one finds out.” He said, “Don't worry, Sister-in-law. I'll uphold the family and protect you.” XX believed him. Less than a month later, XX realized she'd trusted him too soon. OO found her an heir, then had himself adopted into another family. Theme: 1
