The Last Elf in the Galaxy

(Revising. I'll start posting once it's ready.) Hill is the last elf in the galaxy, with an awakened ancestral bloodline. He is the eldest son of Mosley, the Empire's famed God of War, but is also widely considered useless. Obviously, human standards of judgment don't apply to him at all, okay? Still, it's pretty nice to coast through life as the God of War's son, enjoying a leisurely life as an aristocratic young master. If his allowance runs short, he can always turn to the treasure left behind by the entire ancient elven race. He's actually richer than his father. Legend says that elves are cold-hearted and indifferent by nature. So when Ludwig saw the little elf smile and greet him every day as he passed his laboratory, he quickly understood. Oh. He likes me. Hill: Even the most expensive light gun I won at auction is junk. Is there anything better? He set his sights on Ludwig, the finest mechanical engineer. He wanted a custom-made one. What to do? He'd heard that even money couldn't buy one, so he decided to keep showing up outside the master's lab until he became a familiar face. That settled it. Much later. Hill found a whole pile of books in Ludwig's bedroom about how elves were above worldly concerns, and was left speechless. Authors, have any of you ever met a living elf?
