(If you read pirated copies, please don't leave reviews on the official site. The author likes to click on user IDs and check subscription records, and is sensitive enough to cough up blood. I can't handle people saying they love this book, then turning around and reading pirated copies. I also hope those readers won't go to Yue Shen's page and urge updates alongside the lovely readers who support the official version. Thanks for understanding.)
Blurb: What might you encounter while walking at night?
"A parade of ghosts?"
"No, you might also have a romantic encounter."
Night Walking Guide 1: Do not go out on the night of the sixteenth day of the tenth lunar month, or you are sure to meet with bloodshed.
Night Walking Guide 2: If you encounter a talisman master riding in an empty sedan chair, be sure to steer clear. One glance can ruin your life. Remember this.
Night Walking Guide 3: Don't meddle in other people's business. Focus on yourself, and good people will be safe all their lives.
Night Walking Guide 4: If you run into danger, you can ask someone for help, but the price is steep. See Night Walking Guide 2 for details.
Reading Guide: A dark, domineering young master who gets his way versus a gentle, easygoing girl.
A romance wrapped in a fantasy setting. The male lead is a villainous, restrained black lotus, while the female lead is strong enough to hold her own throughout, yet she's a gentle girl who rarely uses violence to solve problems.
Content warning: The author's take on the City of Good Sight differs from popular understanding and is entirely a product of the author's imagination. Please go easy on the research buffs. The plot and romance develop in tandem, so this story is told from an omniscient point of view.
Check out my completed novel: Enchanting Ghost, the heir to an arms-dealing family versus a rookie female undercover agent.
Also, please add my upcoming horror novel, Beneath the Locust Tree, to your reading list.
Blurb:
Have you ever heard a ghost story about a locust tree?
I have.
It all happened in the nineties. When I grew up and returned to my hometown, I could still find traces of the past beneath the tree, along with the shadow of that man.
Author's note: I don't know if writing this counts as breaking some kind of taboo, but I can't resist the urge to write it. The old locust tree in the story is from our village, and there are plenty of creepy rumors about it. To make things less scary, I've thoughtfully added a romance plot. Just think of it as a horror romance. Aside from a few things I heard from the older generation, everything else comes from my imagination. If I happen to offend anyone, please don't take it to heart. Finally, repeat after me: prosperity, democracy, civility, harmony...
A male lead with an unknown past and surname, whose humanity or ghostliness is anyone's guess, versus an unlucky heroine who's a little superstitious but always slow to catch on.
Theme:
This male protagonist really feels like a one-of-a-kind man, the kind of person who has no meal replacement in the whole network. I remember that when I watched it, I was so surprised when he appeared, and I fell in love with him at the first sight.
It's not that I don't want to rate it. I've locked two chapters and can't subscribe to the full book, so I can't rate it. It's really boring, but I really like this article.
It's very interesting. I signed up for membership in Jinjiang just for this article. I hope the author will create more stories of the same type. The background is ancient and fantasy, and the most important male protagonist is aloof, noble, yandere, and kills people without batting an eyelid. . . . Well. . . My first male lead, no one else. It's over, I can't read any other articles!
I want to review it every once in a while. I read it for the first time in junior high school. To this day, there is still no meal replacement on the Internet. Author, I really love you so much. I hope I can keep writing in the future [Come on]
Wow wow wow I finally finished reading it. I also came down from the locust tree. Great cheers.
I finally finished watching "Training to Fish". There are some plots that I didn't understand, such as why the war between Shanjian City and Wuhui City happened, why Qiang Wu was released together with Kuang Yu, and how Kazama Xiao and her sister died, as well as how Snow Demon and her partner died. Maybe this world view is too new for me (tilts head), but the male protagonist is very interesting, and I want to paint the locust tree again after seeing this.
Wuwu, my little sister... My brother must be crazy...
This episode, ah! …I feel so bad that this has come to an abrupt end~
Why is this happening in the extra chapter?
Brother, if you don't do this, you will dig a hole for us in the end? ? ? ?
