I heard that across the sea in the Eastern Isles there was an unrivaled martial arts prodigy, famed as "a thousand men in a single charge." Fu Lanjie decided to cross the sea and go meet (take a look at) him. Who knew that along the way she would rescue two swords with spirits of their own?
"I am a treasured blade of the Genji, Higekiri."
"I am a treasured blade of the Genji, Hizamaru."
Listening to the spirits introduce themselves, Fu Lanjie thought deeply: That martial arts prodigy was called Genji something, wasn't he...?
And so, two swords joined the one zither already hanging at the waist of Fu Lanjie, who had been traveling the martial world alone with a boat and a zither.
Barely a month after arriving on the island, surrounded by monsters and demons, Fu Lanjie exclaimed, "Your local customs in the Eastern Isles are so strange! They're nothing like what the books say!"
Hizamaru: "I remember Heian-kyo wasn't like this... Brother."
Higekiri: "I don't know either, Leggy."
A gentleman's swords and orchids: orchids on the steps, covered in snow and frost, their fragrance renowned throughout the land.
"This is such a pain. When I get back, how am I supposed to explain to the teachers that I ditched the zither for swords..." said Miss Fu Lanjie, from the Boundless Sea of Learning, who preferred not to give her name. Behind her lay the complete destruction of the Sogun Army.
This is a journey shared by three, and a story of one person and two swords roaming the world.
A few things to note:
1. A combination of the Touken Ranbu game and the Onmyoji mobile game.
2. The young lady's background comes from Pili puppetry.
