Wolfish Ambition

Two scumbags. Happy ending. * Bo Yin was the crown prince of the previous dynasty, with the title but none of the power. His bid for the throne ended in failure, and he was sentenced to death at Xuanwu Gate. When he opened his eyes again, he had become a lowly entertainer and courtesan in a marquis's household, with no memory of his past. He swore that this time, he would rise again, seize the throne, and grind the man who had taken possession of his body and heart to dust... Who could have known that he would be... * First couplet: Knowing how you feel, I pretend we're brothers and let you give everything for me. Second couplet: I ruin your plans and imprison your body and heart, whether you like it or not. Horizontal scroll: Let's see who's the bigger scumbag. * A ruthless, ambitious bottom x a scheming top who rises from below Content warnings: 1. The bottom really is a scumbag, truly heartless and unfeeling, and will use anyone or anything he can. 2. The top is also a scumbag, and not much better than the bottom. The principle of this story is that scumbags deserve each other. 3. This isn't pure fluff. There is angst and sweetness. The bottom is determined to claw his way up and top the top, and the top once wanted the same thing and succeeded. Theme: Scumbags never get what they deserve, so they can only hurt each other.
