He's a teacher, a former criminal detective who earned commendations, and an instructor at the police academy who no longer wears a uniform. He's a scruffy teacher whose hair is always sticking up, whose stubble is often unshaven, and whose shirt collar is never buttoned.

He once had a happy family. Now he's all alone, his family in ruins, his wife and child gone, and regret consuming him for the rest of his life.

On the first day of term, the cool and handsome Shi Junzhe is cornered and harassed at the gym. Without that scruffy teacher, he might have been beaten up for no reason.

As he gets to know him, Shi Junzhe discovers that although this teacher is called Jian Yue, he's not simple at all.

What he never expected was that this teacher had already had his eye on him...
