I just suddenly felt like writing an utterly indulgent romance. I'll spoil her however I want. Feel free to bookmark it for now, haha.
Her mother brought home a foolish country girl she found in the mountains. She was terribly shy and timid around strangers. Raise your voice a little, and she gets scared. Move a little closer, and she blushes. Accidentally brush her lips with a kiss, and she gets so flustered she could cry. But this shy, bashful, kindhearted, beautiful silly girl quietly found her way into his heart. He couldn't help wanting to dote on her, and no matter how much he spoiled her, it never felt like enough. He wanted to make up to her for everything the world had ever denied her.
(But before I even started writing, I changed my mind again. Women really are fickle.)
I dote on you?
How would I dote on you? In what capacity, from what position?
Would I do it at any cost, even if it meant setting aside my own dignity? Is that the kind of love you mean?
Love between adults already involves weighing the pros and cons. Would you still believe such nonsense as “I'll take care of you” or “I'll spoil you”?
Theme: As people grow up, the love they seek grows more mature too.
