I'm sorry I disappeared for three months.
I'm even more sorry that I can't tell you where I went during those three months.
But personally, I don't want this experience to be sealed away and forgotten, either. So, after giving it a lot of thought, I've decided to turn it into a fictional story set on another continent and tell it to you in full.
Beneath the fiction lies the truth. But please, don't dwell on what really happened. Just listen to it as a story, and leave it at that.
