When Lu Shi started school, Wen Mo had already received her admission letter from the university of her dreams and was enjoying a homework-free summer vacation, having fun every day without a care in the world.
At the opening ceremony, Wen Mo took the stage to give a speech as the top science student in her year. Lu Shi was daydreaming below, not caring at all what the person on stage looked like or what she was saying.
One day, after a basketball game, Lu Shi was fooling around with a friend when the ball slipped out of his hands and hit Wen Mo in the head, making her cry. To make it up to her, he bought her a cup of milk tea, then considered the matter settled.
Later, Lu Shi became good friends with Wen Mo's cousin and started seeing her often. Somehow, he found himself caring about her more and more, until all he wanted was to bring someone else's big sister home and spoil her. :)
"Big Sis, I only paid you back with a cup of milk tea back then. Later, I realized that wasn't nearly enough, so I want to give you myself instead."
