A Guide to Raising a Wolfdog [Sentinel and Guide]

[Basic Sentinel-Guide Setting Introduction]

One of the three major settings in Western fandom: Sentinels and Guides.

Sentinels: Special humans with extraordinarily sensitive senses. As a result, their mental states are unstable, and they are rare.

Guides: Special humans with exceptional empathic abilities who can soothe Sentinels' mental states. They are extremely rare.

Sentinels and Guides can bond mentally or □□ (mm-hmm~).

Once bonded, they accompany and depend on each other for the rest of their lives, until old age.

If one dies, the other often dies too, especially when a Sentinel loses their Guide.

[Blurb] This is the story of a former strongest Sentinel who, due to unforeseen circumstances, became an ordinary person,

only to be declared someone's Guide with a single bite by a "wolf cub";

it is also the story of an ambitious "wolf cub"

and how he was raised into an obedient-looking "puppy dog."

Shen Yanqi: Since I'm your Sentinel, there are 24 hours in a day, and you have to stay by my side for all 24 of them.

Qin Xiao: But I'm not even a Guide?

Shen Yanqi: ...Awo?

Everything changes when that blue rose appears again.

[Things to Note Before Reading]

1. This guide leans sweet, is medium-length, and has a slightly angsty flavor, with a suspense plot added for seasoning. Readers with different tastes are welcome to give it a try.

2. For readers wary of older-woman/younger-man romance: they are only three years apart. The story mainly features a younger male lead and mutual pampering.

3. Includes a little author-added worldbuilding. The author's usual style: the male lead is handsome, and the female lead is even more handsome.
