Those Years in the Emergency Room

Short Story Collection In the emergency room, I saw a great deal and heard a great deal. If you think these things I write about are real, they seem like a dream, half-true and half-illusory; if you think they are nothing but a fleeting dream and rambling nonsense, then that would be best of all. Nowhere else in this world have I seen a place as full of joy and sorrow, partings and reunions as the emergency room, where such things unfold day after day. Only, there seems to be more suffering.
