Grateful Thoughts

Well, they say a computer will rust if you never use it. And since I feel like I haven't written in ages, I thought I'd start a story and see it through properly. Ever since middle school, I've dug one story pit after another. Some I finished, others I abandoned. I started out writing on Tieba, where I found a group of friends. We'd share our writing, trembling with nerves and comforting one another. But as we grew up, the group fell silent, and it seemed I'd lost the passion for writing I once had. I'd dug plenty of pits, but I'd still kept writing on and off. Looking back now, though, I realized I hadn't felt any urge to write for nearly a year. It made me sad. Then I thought about how I only have these next couple of years to let loose. Once that time is over, even though I used to love writing so much, I might not have the drive or enthusiasm for it anymore. So, with a computer as my excuse, I decided to write a story properly, from start to finish. I've been thinking it over for ages, but I still haven't come up with much. The important thing is, I don't have the resolve to stick to a plan, so I'm the kind of writer who just makes it up as I go and never writes an outline. The whole story can be summed up in one sentence: a renowned scholar from ancient times transmigrates to the world of immortal cultivation. Thanks for reading all that rambling~ Now, let's get to the story!
