Sweet Little Schemes

This was originally going to be a long story, but I don't feel like writing it anymore, so I'll leave it here for now. Maybe I'll pick it up again if I feel like it someday.

Yan Jiu made a video called "My Boyfriend Does the Voice-Over for My Makeup Tutorial." It's one of the most commonplace tags in the beauty community. That day, the man's voice was low, and every enunciation and pause felt like a feather brushing against her heart. With a smile in his voice, he correctly identified the foundation shade, the real purpose of a makeup sponge, and the eyeshadow's iridescent finish. "How are you so good at this?" Yan Jiu couldn't help asking. The man gave a slightly wicked laugh but said nothing. "If you can guess the lipstick shade, I'll admit defeat, hmph~~~~" Yan Jiu applied the lipstick, but the man who had entered the frame turned her face toward him, held her chin, and gave her a deep French kiss. "This is sweet little Jiujiu, right?" It was hard to tell whether he meant the lipstick or Yan Jiu.

Later, a certain brand's shade 999 sold out. It also had another name: Qin Jun's little Jiujiu.

Notes:

1. The main couple's romance is all sweet, with no angst. Can't promise the same for the supporting characters or the plot.

2. The heroine is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous, and totally captivating.

3. The heroine is a beauty blogger with a secret, and the hero is a mature, experienced heartthrob. Neither is based on a real person, so don't read too much into it.

4. One last warning: the hero had an ex-girlfriend a long time ago.
