A Taste of Courtroom Banter

[Announcement: I'm still on the road and can't update. I'll make up the chapter tomorrow. October 7. Muah =w=] Xie Heng can carry a blade on her shoulder and fire off insults with her mouth. Relying on her status as an imperial relative, she can do anything and go anywhere in the capital. She has no ambitions left in life, save for two wishes yet unfulfilled. First, to clear the names of those who died unjustly. Second... to wish everyone good health and every success! Liu Jingxing: Sure, go ahead and do whatever you like. I'll take out your love rival first, then take you out. [smile.jpg] Xie Heng: ...He can be as strong as he likes. I'm choosing Liu Jingxing! (Hmph! That rhymes. The "xing" in his name is pronounced "hang.") --*-- Reader's Guide --*-- 1. Pairing: A lawyer who has to win every case from heaven to earth x a young lord who schemes in the open and in secret to marry his first love. 2. A lawyer-themed story. The blurb is unserious, but the writing is very serious. The female lead is carefree, extreme, loves winning, and is adored by everyone. She does whatever she wants, like an endless string of idioms. 3. Completely fictional setting. The heroine is already arguing cases in court, so don't nitpick, don't compare it to other stories, and please be understanding! 4. I'm just writing for fun, so read for fun. If it's not for you, click x. The world is wide, and we'll meet again somewhere down the road.
