No. 444 Real Estate Agency

With the human birth rate generally declining these days, there are far fewer places available for reincarnation. The souls waiting to be reborn are about to overcrowd the underworld. With no other choice, the Underworld tacitly allows some souls to linger among the living, and "No. 444 Real Estate Agency" opens its doors. It finds suitable homes for every soul lingering in the mortal realm. Client 1: "I've got a haunted house for rent: three west-facing bedrooms, no sunlight gets in, and the yin energy is so strong that tenants won't get scorched by yang energy even in broad daylight. Great rates: rent for ten months and get two free!" Client 2: "I was a singer when I was alive. Since I died, my only hobby has been playing guitar and singing in the middle of the night, and putting on concerts whenever I feel like it. I urgently need a place where the neighbors won't complain." ***Coming soon. Please add it to your collection: "No. 444 Public Restroom": No. 444 Public Restroom is a very special restroom. Not only does it have no unpleasant odors, it smells absolutely wonderful. Everyone who comes in to use it feels relaxed and refreshed. They say that even people who have suffered from hemorrhoids for years can finally enjoy relief and comfort here. No. 444 Public Restroom: If you dare to come, I'll dare to open. Completed companion stories: ***"No. 444 Wonton Shop": Cheng Xiaohua came to the city to find work and landed a job at a wonton shop. She was also forcibly bound to the "Home of the Underworld" app. The wonton shop is small, but it has powerful backing: it's a direct branch of the Underworld Bureau, a prestigious company with a history of ten thousand years. There aren't many employees, but every one of them is a character: an aloof King of Hell who manages the shop, a ferocious young cat demon, and a patriotic ghost constable bent on restoring the Ming dynasty and expelling the Qing. From then on, Cheng Xiaohua's days are spent selling wontons and being pushed by a glitchy System into fighting monsters and leveling up. ***"No. 444 Marriage Agency" Cheng Xiangxiang started working at a marriage agency, where the clients were all a little unusual. A hundred-year-old zombie blushed shyly. "My ideal partner has fair skin, a soft body, and long legs, and likes to bounce around just like me." A long-haired water ghost rubbed her hands together eagerly. "I like the domineering CEO type, preferably someone who'd buy up a whole fishpond and fill it in to make me a grave mound." A fluffy long-eared rabbit chewed on a carrot. "I like tough guys, strong enough to protect me. It doesn't matter if they're not very smart." ####My friend's completed, very long novel: "The Cherished Princess" by Matcha Pancake: Her scumbag ex-husband is reborn too!
