My Left Eye Can Receive Plane Orders

Gu Fusheng is a blind orphan. The labels most often pinned on him are poor, unloved, studious, and so disciplined it's a form of madness. His greatest dream is to have a good university, a good career, and a loving partner in the future, to build a life together, support one another, and grow old side by side. But after getting a prosthetic eye, Gu Fusheng discovers he can receive orders from other planes of existence?! A little merchant in the desert, nearly dying of the heat, finishes a bottle of water and hands over a handful of gold nuggets as a delivery fee; A top scholar who disguised herself as a man thanks Gu Fusheng for the disguise pill he sold her, then sends him a pile of exquisite antique paintings; A customer in the apocalypse is trapped in a zombie horde. Gu Fusheng drives a mecha from a sci-fi plane into the horde, fighting his way through three times. As he looks at the mountain of crystal cores, he wonders which plane he can resell them to; A demonic cultivator, tired of being hunted, is talked into building a cultivation academy by Gu Fusheng. Gu Fusheng returns with a storage pouch full of spirit pills, so his friends and family no longer have to worry about getting sick; A wizard's tower in a magical world sends in a request for a substitute teacher. The teacher remembers how eager Gu Fusheng was in class, so he has to extend his teaching stint... Ordinary person Gu Fusheng works hard to understand each customer's needs, and business keeps booming. One day, he brings flowers and all his worldly possessions, gathers his courage, and enters a high-risk plane to propose to the person who fell in love with him at first sight. A monster boy from a plane corrupted by eldritch forces breaks free of his seal, regains his reason, and comes to Gu Fusheng's side, his snake tail swishing. And then? Of course, the sweethearts keep growing their business together! PS: The original blurb just wasn't working, so I've changed it to a story about a cross-dimensional trader and romance with a nonhuman. Theme: Take your work seriously, and take your life seriously.
