[Hunter] The Twilight of the Gods

Nidhogg, in Norse mythology, is a black dragon that dwells at the base of the World Tree, constantly gnawing at its roots. Legend says that beside the roots of the World Tree, which leads to the land of the dead, Niflhel, lurks a black dragon called Despair. It coils around and feeds on the roots alongside countless other serpents. When the roots have been devoured, the Tree of Life will wither, and the world will be destroyed.

Attila, tell me: you who bear the surname Nidhogg, are you the black dragon called Despair?

A friendly warning: the following blurb contains spoilers. Read with caution.

1. Attila is a creature from the Dark Continent in the new Hunter x Hunter arc. (Don't be misled by the abstract blurb. She is not literally a dragon.)

2. Since FJ has not yet described the Dark Continent in detail, most of what is said about it here is my own speculation and imagination.

3. As for Attila's personality, the story will be a slow burn. Her early behavior is only a facade.

4. Attila's abilities will be explained gradually in the story.

5. Compared to the Spiders, whose values are rather different from those of ordinary people (?), Attila, strictly speaking, has no values at all.

P.S. I got an idea and couldn't wait to start, but finishing this story will be a long and massive undertaking.
