Link to the first part: As Distant as Another Lifetime The Saniwa takes over a secondhand Honmaru that once stood on the brink of corruption. Although the Time Government has punished the previous master for mistreating the sword tsukumogami, the harm already done cannot be undone. The sword warriors can't let go of what happened, and they can no longer await their new master with the wholehearted loyalty they felt when they were first summoned. And so... When Konnosuke leads the new Saniwa to the Honmaru "Since this is the Government's decision, we will recognize you as our master. But if you betray our hopes (draws a blade in secret)..." "As your retainer, I must advise you, my lord: a sharp sword is indeed powerful, but mishandling it can hurt your hand!" "Another person who wants the symbol of all under heaven to serve them?" Saniwa: I don't! I didn't! (On the verge of tears) Who the heck wants to be master to a bunch of troublesome sword spirits like you? I haven't even found my own lord yet! A certain lord: Looking for me? Dream on. Theme:
