Everyone has a dream. Some fulfill it while they are still alive; others do not. Those who die without fulfilling their dreams cannot be reincarnated. They become wandering spirits. As their numbers grow, the world becomes unstable. To deal with this, the world created a special kind of being: Dream Fulfillers.
Dream Fulfillers do not age, fall ill, or die. They exist to make wandering spirits' dreams come true, allowing them to reincarnate and keeping the world stable.
Dream Fulfillers may be born that way or transformed from wandering spirits. After completing a number of missions, transformed Dream Fulfillers can return to their original world and fulfill their own dreams. Those born as Dream Fulfillers, however, can only go on completing missions over and over, with no end in sight.
