[Blue Lock] Rev the Chainsaw Once More

Denji pulled the chainsaw once more and woke in a dim alley.

“Why am I in a garbage dump? What bad luck.”

Lying in a filthy cardboard box, with a stench in his nose, he saw a black-and-white ball he had never seen before flying straight toward him.

“Look out!”

A voice came from somewhere in the distance.

[It doesn’t matter if I get hit.]

[But...]

Seeing the orange puppy above his head, Denji reached out and steadied the warm little life.

The sixteen-year-old blond boy planted his right foot and rose, drawing on the strength of his waist.

He lifted his left foot,

and volleyed!!!

“Sorry, I didn’t...”

The black-and-white soccer ball went whooshing past him, its gust of wind ruffling his purple hair. It had not hit him, but Mikage Reo seemed to feel pain in the rim of his right ear.

It was the fastest ball he had ever seen.

[I want... that guy!!]

Mikage Reo heard his own heartbeat.
