The NPC's Handbook for Self-Cultivation

*

As an NPC, An Zhao has to endure teasing from different players every day. It makes her miserable, and all she wants to do is cry.

Luckily, players can't touch humanlike AI NPCs like her.

One sunny day, the most famous overpowered physical cultivator on the server knelt before her and proposed. "Can I marry you?"

"No." Her calm gaze took on a faint trace of alarm.

One day,

"Can I have a little NPC with you?" A pair of long, pale legs suddenly appeared in her view. She looked up and saw the cold, sword-cultivating man who had declared that he would buy the entire server.

"No." She backed away two steps, and cracks began to show in the calm expression she had struggled to maintain.

-

"Why?" they asked in unison, dejected.

"Because my programming requires me to like women only."

-

"Wifey, you should've said so sooner." A woman in red stepped through the sunset, wrapped an arm around her waist, and lifted her up. "I had to pretend to be all those different classes just to propose to you."

"!!! How can you touch me?!"

"It's a secret." The woman in red raised an eyebrow, then lowered her head and silenced the person in her arms with a kiss.

"Mmmph..." The NPC was kissed into silence.
