In short, this is the story of a gloomy, mostly expressionless girl who is clearly 141, yet loves to hide her face behind a huge scarf that nearly drags on the ground. Even one eye and her ears are concealed beneath her mask and hat. This suspected “bundle fanatic” has a mind that's a complete blank apart from her combat skills and memory, and lives her life in this vast world by “raising troublemakers, fighting, or wandering around cake shops.”
This is Ki in her original form. Pay attention to her ears: this is the Ki in this story, not the one from Chobits. As for why the two look so alike, you'll find out in the story.
If the beginning doesn't do much for you, just start with the Bleach arc. I personally think I only managed to write Ki's personality well from the Bleach arc onward.
