Reborn: This Palace Is So Helpless

Here's the premise: The empress is virtuous and benevolent, a model for all under heaven. The noble consort is elegant and luxurious, favored above all the women in the palace. The new beauties entering the palace are each perceptive and charming, lovely as flowers, and scheming their way up the ranks... The reborn imperial noble consort is at a loss: This is ridiculous! In my previous life, I lived peacefully, just eating and waiting to die. Apart from failing to survive childbirth, I had a pretty pleasant life. So, Heaven, what exactly do you mean by sending me back to life?! Heaven drifts past with a beaming smile: As a member of the imperial harem, how can you just sit around eating and waiting to die, without striving for more? Even I can't stand watching you, so of course I'm sending you back to fight for favor and have babies. I'll even throw in a powerful golden finger! A few days later... The imperial noble consort stares in despair, her eyes full of helplessness: Because she really has started seeing ghosts... Heaven drifts past again with a beaming smile: How do you like this golden finger? The imperial noble consort, listening to the palace's lonely ghosts chatter on and on about gossip and secrets: ...It's... all right... I guess. ++++++Updates are very regular, normally every other day, but sometimes daily.
