East of the Bohai Sea, beyond billions upon billions of miles, lies a great chasm, a bottomless valley called Guixu. Its depths are boundless. The waters of the eight directions and nine regions, along with the Milky Way's currents, all flow into it, yet its waters neither rise nor fall. Within it stand five mountains: first Daiyu, second Yuanjiao, third Fanghu, fourth Yingzhou, and fifth Penglai.
