[The King's Avatar] I, Han Wenqing, Admit Defeat

On New Year's Eve, the most fearsome captain in the Glory Alliance and the most unhinged director in the film industry sit side by side on the steps outside their home, smoking, just like the boy and girl who were both kicked out of their homes ten years ago.

Han Wenqing stares at a tiny flicker of fire in the darkness and asks the neighbor he's known for nearly thirty years, "Want to get married?"

Sang Sang grins and flicks some ash off her cigarette.

"Sure."

[Reading Guide]

◆ A Han Wenqing/Original Female Character story written for fun, with a childhood-friends setup. Really, it's a long-married-couple-getting-together story that'll make you feel single.

◇ The two characters in the heroine's name, Sang Sang, are pronounced the same. She's a no-nonsense big sister with a screw loose, and the whole story has pretty much the same vibe x

◆ It should be a short novella of around 50,000 words. The title is just a joke and doesn't reflect the author's opinion (...)

◇ I've already offered my wallet to Captain Han (fist salute). The story blurb was posted on March 31, Han's birthday. I'll fill in the story when I have time in the second half of the year.
