My Daughter Has Just Come of Age

I've seen so many military uniforms, but only you ever made my heart skip a beat.

Five years is long enough for someone to be forgotten.

Maybe I didn't understand why you left without a word back then, but when you returned, I still loved you just as much as ever.

Please forgive me for being a little willful and proud now and then, because I know I can count on someone like you to be there for me.

I'm a newbie and have no idea how to write a blurb... :>_
