There's Something I Want to Talk to You About: My Secret Crush

Hey, let's have a secret crush together.

The scatterbrained underachiever Xu Jingjing has a crush on the school's heartthrob, Gao Zhan. The top student Kang Jiawei, nicknamed "Instant Noodles," has a crush on the goddess Xu Jingjing. Hoping to get closer to the guy she likes, Xu Jingjing breaks up Gao Zhan and Xu Jingjing, then forms a "Secret Crush Alliance" with Kang Jiawei. She encourages him to lose weight and pursue Xu Jingjing, while Kang Jiawei helps her study, and her grades improve by leaps and bounds. As they help each other, their relationship subtly changes, seeming to go beyond friendship... Then Kang Jiawei's father dies, and Kang Jiawei leaves for America without a word. Their budding feelings come to an abrupt end.

At their class reunion eight years later, "Instant Noodles" has made a stunning comeback as a rich, handsome real estate developer. Determined to make up for what he missed eight years ago, he finally confesses:

Kang Jiawei: "I like you, Jingjing. Be my girlfriend."

Xu Jingjing: "What makes you think I'd want to be your girlfriend eight years later? What if I have a boyfriend?"

Kang Jiawei: "That's fine. If you have a boyfriend, I'll find a way to make him your ex."
