The castle doesn't like sunlight.
Surrounded by black fertile land, dark green thorny branches and vines tangled, white roses bloomed in the bloodless field outside the gray castle, but under the moonlight they were as charming as red roses.
There are bright eyes in the dark corners, wolves are howling in the distance, swarms of bats are flying in the sky, and suddenly one of them squeezes out and crashes down.
It's terrifying.
A small wooden sign on the verge of decay and collapse is inscribed: Rose Castle.
*****
The black castle is bathed in sunlight, as strange as a drowning fish.
Hexi's spring is scattered. The bats are keen and disperse before dawn. White Rose charms something wantonly, but paradoxically reveals her powerlessness. The dark green branches cast a faint light. The wooden thorns are sharp and merciless.
