Jiangshi: Priest, You Dropped Your Gun

A scheming zombie paired with an exorcist detective

A zombie girl mistakes the detective who was trying to kill her for her savior. Grateful beyond words, she follows him everywhere.

The detective had originally wanted to kill her, but somehow ended up as her blood servant. If she dies, he dies too. Meanwhile, the zombie's lover from her past life falls to his knees by the roadside, pounding his chest in anguish. "How could this happen!" The zombie and the detective think: That's what we want to know!

The resurrected zombie girl, with her memories of love and hate blurred, doggedly searches for clues to her past life and struggles to fulfill her lifelong wish.

(Present life)

"Why do you keep following me?" the exorcist detective asked impatiently.

Wearing red, the zombie turned her head aside and stubbornly refused to answer.

She's a zombie, and you made her heart beat. So the zombie is determined to follow you, hoping to understand something, hoping to remember something.

(Past life)

A long, long time ago, there was a boy who was the only color in the zombie girl's world of pure black and white. But zombies couldn't be with humans, so the zombie girl left. Every day, she thought of the boy and dreamed the false dream that they would be together forever. She struggled on alone across the land, until she was eventually sealed away in some forgotten corner.

P.S. Whenever a mystery comes up, I automatically switch into "idiot pretending to be smart" mode.

Also, now that Qixi Festival is over, I'm even less capable of writing a happy ending. I hope you readers can teach me how.
